The last episode of this arc accumulates into much of nothing, leaving behind it a trail of absolute fluff. Seems like my distaste for the earlier episodes carried on through this one, a feeling of disappointment is all I was left with. Guy gets girl with very little fanfare sums up these poor excuses of four episodes, everything in between of little interest and substance.

Amagami SS – 03
Just shoot me, my testosterone levels have fallen to dangerously low levels. Brow kissing, back of the knee kissing, I am fully expecting our super pervy and super horny hero male lead will ask Morishima to allow him to kiss her arm pits during the next episode. I will not be surprised if there is not a full-blown kiss until all awkward body parts have been cycled through. Coupled with the fact that Junichi is gradually improving at acting as a puppy, this show makes me want to gouge my eyes out even more.
Amagami SS – 02
With one-liners like this you too can pick up the ladies. This show doesn’t disappoint in its uncanny ability to deliver cringe worthy dialogue from our hero male lead scene by scene.
Speaking of Junichi, despite having a positive ending for him in this episode, he’s still not the character I can root for. These romance anime shows are pretty hard to enjoy if I think the male lead is not exactly likable or justified in getting the girl in the first place so to speak.
Amagami SS – 01
So far this show is your typical anime high school romance, with your typical choice of pretty girls, a typical guy, and some typical Japanese brother-sister complex thrown in for good measure. The only non-typical thing about this show is the male, Junichi, has a self-made star-constellation-planetarium thing in his closet, where he also happens to sleep in for goodness sakes.
The show opens with Junichi in a sea of stars floating all naked in some introspective scene because Japanese high school romance is serious business.
