StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty – Review
Reviews of Starcraft 2 usually begin by delving into its rich history, about how it’s a game of 12 years coming, and how the original Starcraft is Korea’s national pasttime (okay it’s not, but it’s really huge if you read up on it) but in the end all you care about is if Starcraft 2 is any good. If you’re not one of the 1.5 million people who purchased the game within its first two days of release, what are you waiting for?
Xenosaga II – Review
By the end of your 30 hour run with this game, you will wonder why you didn’t pay attention to the reviews and just skip it.
The battle system is best described as slow. Now I read some people would rather call this slow natured system as strategic, but I strongly disagree. Once you figure out the inner quirks and have a better understanding of what you are doing, you quickly figure out the battle system just adds more steps into what would be a simple turned based game.

Great story overall and epic in scope. I did get a bit burned out playing the first three chapters as they were slow. You were going from dungeon to dungeon to figure out the location of a very important item. Nothing much else was occurring during that time. At last, at the end of Chapter 3 the game kicks into overdrive and it was just oozing with great story. Numerous and unexpected twists keep it fresh and entertaining.
As to what the story is actually about I do not care to indulge into it because I do not feel like breaking it down, it is beyond me at the moment. Just know it was a fantastic from beginning to end.

Final Fantasy XII was definitely a mixed bag. The story started out pretty damn good, but quickly fell into non-existence. The game began to feel more like a dungeon crawler as dungeons began to resemble the very last dungeon you were in. The characters were flat and seemed to be there to just tag along with our main female lead. Most of them had very little impact on the story. The only saving grace to this game was the change to the battle system. What a change it was. Oh and if you are wondering why in the world you are reading a review of a game released god knows how long ago, it is because I am a poor bastard. Good thing though because this game was definitely not worth $50.
