Ookami-san – 11

Ookami-san - RyoukoThe fight between Ryoushi and Shirou was actually pretty damn good. A fluid, hard-hitting, and no cut-away fight sequence that was rather enjoyable as compared to the previous mundane brawls of the show. Too bad it was so short, curse the President for ruining the fun by stopping the fight midway. That makes two slingshots destroyed by Shirou’s super sharp man nails now. Ryoushi indeed has some bad luck trying to use them effectively against him.

I liked how the kidnappers used each character’s trait against him or her. For Tarou they sent in a pack of girls to swarm him as Otohime watched and Otsuu was forced to wear something other than a maid’s outfit. The show quickly abandons the premise though as they are quickly rescued.

Saburou isn’t as shady as I perceived him at first, turns out he is simply returning a favor to Ryouko for saving him in the past.

Shirou’s main goal is to drive people into despair, a dark and gloomy goal for a lighthearted show, making it hard to take seriously at times. Amazing he managed to spin the outcome of the episode by commenting that the stronger their bond grows, all the more satisfying when he breaks them apart. Guys with white colored hair sure are evil.

So where was the kiss for Ryoushi for saving Ryouko!
